Terms & Conditions

Due to the boutique nature of The Old Clarence Brewery’s accommodation offerings, the following Cancellation, Amendment, No Show policies and Terms apply:

PAYMENT TERMS
(Payments via Stripe)
1. A 50% deposit is charged at the time of booking. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been processed. The balance of the booking will be charged automatically to the same credit card 30 days before your check-in date.
2. Full payment is required at the time of booking if you book within 30 days.

CANCELLATION POLICY
1. If you cancel your booking up to 30 days before check-in, a full refund of the total amount paid, less a $50 booking fee will be issued.
2. If you cancel your booking less than 30 days before check-in, no refunds will be issued.
3. If you have booked via Airbnb or another booking channel, their terms and conditions apply.

MOVING A BOOKING
We understand plans change; therefore, we can move your stay up to 14 days before check-in.
1. If you move your booking between 14-30 days of check-in, The Old Clarence Brewery can hold 100% of your payment in credit for a future stay. This credit must be used within 12 months of your original booking. Please note that you are liable for any rate changes.
2. If you move your booking between 7-14 days of check-in, 50% of your booking can be held in credit towards a future stay within 12 months of your original booking. 50% is non-refundable.
3. If you cancel your booking or fail to show up within 0-7 days of check-in, the full amount paid is non-refundable.

BOND
All stays at The Old Clarence Brewery require a bond of $600 per stay. This is an authorization hold only, applied to your credit card on check-in, and released within 24 hours of check-out. Please ensure that your card has enough funds to cover the bond before your check-in day.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in is from 3 pm, and check-out is by 10 am. Our cleaner arrives at 10 am on your check-out day to prepare for the next guests. Please vacate the property by this time and follow the check-out instructions provided. Late check-outs incur an extra fee of $50 per half hour or part thereof.

PLEASE NOTE
We have a 2-night minimum stay on all our properties, except during selected school holidays when the minimum night stay is five.

The property has security cameras located on the front porch facing the front porch area, front yard, and driveways. There are no other cameras located on the property.

NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS
All accommodations must be used for private/residential use only and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation. Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in immediate termination of booking, requiring you to vacate the property immediately without a refund. Additional charges for extra guests will be debited to your credit card without further notice.

If you receive complaints and are found to have been disrespectful to the neighbors, you will be required to vacate the premises immediately without further notice or refund. No extra guests are permitted on the property in tents or any other mobile vehicles.

VISITORS
Tenants and/or visitors shall park in specific designated areas and not on the lawn. The tenants are responsible for the behavior and actions of their visitors while on the premises.

EVENTS
No functions or parties may be conducted at the property. No weddings are to be held at the property. No elopements are allowed without prior consent. Please note that an additional fee will apply, and it is subject to conditions.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Commercial photoshoots are not permitted without prior consent. Location hire for photoshoots is charged separately. Bridal party preparation (wedding elsewhere) will incur additional photography location fees.

CLEANING
All accommodation bookings are accepted on the basis that all occupants will treat the property with the same respect as their own home. Please leave the property in a neat and tidy state with all rubbish removed to the relevant outside bins. A professional clean will be carried out on check-out, and this cost is included in the room rate. Mid-stay cleans and a change of linen are available upon request and do incur additional fees. If the property is found to have been left in an unreasonable state, an extra cleaning charge of $100 minimum will be determined at management’s discretion and charged to your credit card without further notice.

CHILDREN
Children are welcome, but they are the responsibility of parents or caregivers.

NOISE
Please be respectful to our neighbors at all times and keep noise to a minimum, so everyone can enjoy their stay.

PETS
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets on the property.

DAMAGE
While you are in occupation, you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property, its furniture fittings, or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner/Agent. Any such breakages, damage, or loss must be reported immediately and paid for before departure. Failure to comply with this condition will result in a debit of any such costs and expenses to your credit card or security deposit without further notice.

SMOKING
There is no smoking inside any of the properties. If there is evidence of smoking, including a smoke odor, you will be charged a fee of $500 to cover the cleaning of curtains, rugs, and air-conditioning sterilization.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE BOOKINGS
The Booking Agent and the Owner reserve the right to revoke or refuse to honor any property accommodation booking that may, in the opinion of either party (and at their sole discretion), be unsuitable for the Property concerned.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Once a Guest’s booking has been confirmed, the Guest shall be responsible for payment of the total price for the rental period and all extras (if any) as shown on the confirmation notice on or before the date or dates referred to in such notice.

DISCLAIMER
I/We hereby acknowledge and agree that the Property Owner and Agent will not be held responsible nor liable for:
– Any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees, or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused while I/we are in occupancy of the accommodation due to my/our failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions or House Rules.
– Any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees, or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused due to negligence on my/our/their part.
– Any injury or loss suffered by the occupants, their invitees, or guests whatsoever or howsoever caused as a result of insects or wildlife in or around the accommodation site. All occupants are to take specific care at all times and are requested not to approach any wildlife under any circumstances.

INDEMNITY
You, the guest, indemnify the agency against any liability that may attach to the agency as a result of damage, injury, or loss being personal or proprietary. Such damage, injury, or loss has been contributed to or caused by any act or occasion of the tenant or his/her visitor. Management reserves the right to update these Terms + Conditions when required at their discretion. We have taken much time and care to create these spaces, so please be respectful and enjoy your stay.
